Our Promise

Every Scent & Chill product is handcrafted with love and care. If something isn't right, we want to make it right. Please read our policy below and reach out to us — we're always happy to help.

1. Eligibility for Returns

We accept returns under the following conditions:

  • The item is damaged, defective, or incorrect upon delivery
  • You notify us within 48 hours of receiving the product
  • The item is unused, in its original packaging, and in the same condition as received
  • Proof of damage/defect is provided (photo or video via WhatsApp or email)

2. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return or refund:

  • Items damaged after delivery due to customer mishandling
  • Custom or personalised orders made to your specifications
  • Candles that have been lit or used
  • Items purchased during sale or at discounted prices (unless defective)
  • Items returned after 48 hours of delivery without prior intimation

3. How to Initiate a Return

  1. Contact us within 48 hours of receiving your order via WhatsApp or email.
  2. Share your order ID, photos/video of the product showing the issue.
  3. Our team will review and respond within 24 hours.
  4. If approved, we will arrange a reverse pickup or guide you to ship the item back.
  5. Refund or replacement will be processed after we receive and inspect the returned item.

4. Refund Process

Once your return is received and inspected:

  • We will notify you via email/WhatsApp of the approval or rejection of your refund
  • If approved, refunds are processed to the original payment method
  • Razorpay refunds typically appear within 5–7 business days
  • Bank transfer timelines may vary depending on your bank

⚠ Note: Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error (wrong or damaged item).

5. Cancellations

Orders can be cancelled within 12 hours of placing them, provided they have not yet been dispatched. To cancel, contact us immediately via WhatsApp or email with your Order ID.

Once an order has been dispatched, cancellation is not possible. You may initiate a return once the item is delivered.

For made-to-order items, cancellations may not be accepted once production has started.

6. Exchanges

We offer exchanges for defective or damaged items. If you wish to exchange for a different product, please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate your request, subject to availability.

7. Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven't received your refund:

  1. Check your bank account again
  2. Contact your credit card company — it may take some time to post
  3. Contact your bank — there is often some processing time
  4. If you've done all this and still not received your refund, contact us
